Dr. Cynthia Waldron
Dr. Waldron's Bio
Animal Junction’s founder, Dr. Cynthia Waldron, is a full-time veterinarian as well as the medical director of our practice. Dr. Waldron has been working in the animal care industry since the age of 15, when she got her start as a weekend kennel worker. Since then, she has gained years of experience in various positions within the field of veterinary medicine and is thrilled that her passion for this line of work has led her to open Animal Junction. Dr. Waldron loves being part of such a close-knit and compassionate team of veterinary professions who work together to ensure that each pet who comes through our doors has a better quality of life and the best medical care possible.
In her free time, Dr. Waldron enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with her family, including her husband, Glen, and their two daughters.
Dr. Krista Carroll
Dr. Carroll's Bio
Krista Carroll is an associate veterinarian here at Animal Junction and has been working in the animal care industry for nine years. Dr. Carroll enjoys working at Animal Junction because of the kind staff and clientele, as well as the wonderful patients.
In her free time, Dr. Carroll enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family, especially her dog, Quincy, and her husband, Russ.
Karen is our client service representative supervisor. She has been working in the animal care field for 13 years. Karen loves working with the great team of staff and the wonderful clients that make Animal Junction the wonderful place that it is.
In her free time, Karen enjoys attending dog shows.
Wendy Herrick is one of our animal care assistants and has been working in the animal care industry for 20 years. In addition to her experience within the animal care field, she also has a master’s degree in education. Wendy enjoys working at Animal Junction because she loves spending time with animals and helping people care for their pets.
In her free time, Wendy enjoys reading, gardening, teaching, and spending time with her husband, Scott. She also enjoys hiking with her two dogs and her cat!
Born and raised in Brockport, NY, Amy is a State of New York licensed veterinary technician who has been working in the animal care industry for six years. In addition to earning her Bachelor of Science from Medaille College, Amy also has a Bachelor of Science in psychology as well as biology from SUNY Brockport.
Amy enjoys being part of the Animal Junction team because she gets to work with wonderful clients and coworkers each day. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her cat and two dogs, as well as camping and frequenting dog-friendly breweries.
Gwen Gonzalez is one of our licensed veterinary technicians. Gwen has a passion for working with animals and has been working in the animal care industry for 24 years! In addition to being licensed in the State of New York for veterinary technology, Gwen also has a degree from SUNY Delhi. Gwen enjoys working at Animal Junction because she enjoys working together with the close-knit Animal Junction team to bring positive experiences to pets and their owners.
In her free time, Gwen enjoys homeschooling her two daughters, and she especially loves teaching them about nature and animals. She also enjoys hiking with her dog, Ike, and spending time with her husband, Gabriel.
Tess is one of our licensed veterinary technicians and has been working in the animal care industry for seven years. Tess loves working at Animal Junction because she is able to work with a great team of people while helping animals.
Tess has two dogs, five cats, and three sheep. In her free time, Tess enjoys partaking in dog agility, herding, and hiking.
